Otule 8 min.

Thought Juan had a double/double.

FT practice is helping.

Nice to see Derrick with a better FT stroke, and a willingness to attack the rim, although sometimes he does get lost in the trees.

STJr in absentia.

Ox 35 minutes!!!!! He is a force. Hope he's not gassed Sunday, when we play our first of a potential 5 against Creighton.

Can we bring the Cal state - Fullerton rims with us when we leave?

Great games by Juan, Derrick, Jake.
Freshmen couldn't bring it on back-to-back games
DG's defense improving.
#13 jersey does not permit made 3 pt shots
When everybody on offense moves, it looks good.   When they clear a side in order to pound it inside to the post, it looks slow and ugly.   Then, if the look isn't there, it is too late to really start motion.
Still trying to figure out the continuation call for Creek after the foul on Juan, errr, Jake, errr, technical,   errr Juan 3 seconds before the shot.

Jake and Derrick set the tone for the next game with that dive, pass, and layup combo.

damn I knew DG played a lot didn't realize it was 35 min.

Hell yeah big fella.

Wtf with refs?  The mystery call was beyond me. They reviewed it and called on #40?  No #40 on our roster...and this was after a review.

Ox manhandled them.  GW went chippy and the refs allowed it.  In the end MU beat them up and roughed it out.  Great team effort.

Todd had a really solid game today too.

Very nice to see the upperclassmen play very well.  They need to lead us this year.  The Frosh had played a lot yesterday and I wasn't too surprised that they each had a modest let down.  Amazed that Ox played 35 minutes.  That has to be the most he's played in a single game.  Sure hope 2 days is enough rest time for him.

Agreed.

If two days rest isn't enough this time of year, something is wrong.

Ox, and the rest of the team will be there.  The BE is ours to lose.  Time to step it up.

Yup. A day off should be fine, especially when you are not traveling anywhere(I guess were hoping arenas).

OX minutes will most likely be down a bit vs Creighton(if its them at least) as they are a high powered offense and the pace will probably be a lot more up and down.

How about when Miles Simon said GW outplayed MU in the 2nd half?  They lost by 20 and trailed by as much the bulk of the game.  Short of that strNge sequence where the refs gave GW a made basket, a foul AND  the ball back they never threatened.

We R Final Four

I hope Buzz can figure out these OOB 5 second calls/timeouts/turnovers.  Every game this year. Frustrating.

Was disappointed to see Derrick still asked to inbound from the baseline.  Got to get a taller player making that pass.  And with the way Derrick is sniffing around the floor lately, having him free might get a good play out of it as well.

GGGG

Regarding the freshmen let down, I would like to see a play by play, because I thought they actually increased the lead when JJJ and Deonte came into the game...and sustained it with Dawson.  Granted that is when Mayo really got hot, but I thought the freshmen more than held their own defensively.
