John Irving may very well be the hottest novelist ever.

And oh, yeah, "The World According to Garp" was a great read.
Have some patience, FFS.

A female co-worker with similar literary tastes gave me her copy of "Garp" to read shortly after it's release. A week or so later, she asked me if I gotten to "The Part" yet. When I said "What part?" she laughed and said "Guess not". Great read, my favorite Irving novel.

One has to assume the part is when a certain part is no longer attached due to a clenching of the teeth....

"Just keep walking past the open windows."

An important reminder for MUScoop these days.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
