That means they will host the Big East Tournament semifinals and finals (assuming they win their quarterfinal match to get there).

CreightonWarrior

Semifinals and Finals will be @ Creighton.

Nice, just racking up conference titles now.

I've went to about six games this year. Others who have not went, need to give it a chance.

Like CreightonWarrior said, CU is hosting.

With a nine team league, there are no quarterfinals.

MU beat Butler yesterday to advance to today's Big East championship match vs Creighton.

Match is AT Creighton and will probably have a jammed full Sokol Center.

Live free video will be linked here: http://www.gocreighton.com/liveEvents/liveEvents.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=1000

Match starts at 5pm Central.

Why is it at Creighton? In almost all major conferences the regular season champion hosts the Final Four (assuming they aren't upset: if they are it goes wherever the highest seed remaining is).

And if you're doing it at a predetermined site why is a newcomer hosting in their first season? Pretty lame.

I have no problem with CU hosting. They beat MU in the ncaa tourney last season. Many of these building are booked for men's or women's basketball, so volleyball has to be pick before the season starts.

MU could host 1st/2nd rounds of ncaa tourney.

The Big East has always predetermined locations for the conference championships. It allows for better scheduling in multipurpose arenas.

Also, remember that they had to schedule these tournaments on somewhat short notice. Giving women's soccer (Marquette), volleyball (Creighton) and women's basketball (DePaul) to the presumptive league favorites was the right choice.
