In the past he's always been innovative and won't stick with something that isn't working. Today he was set on benching the freshmen and riding Derrick Wilson....hopefully he learns from this butt kicking and doesn't do this again.

Jake Thomas should not start another game this season. As a "sharpshooter" he is better off developing a feel for the game and playing a role on the team. He may be better of in a role were he comes in to expand the defense to the perimeter (when he is on offense) and hit an occasional outside shot.

Any high D1 basketball team with Jake Thomas playing 25+ minutes has very little chance of beating decent competition.

Yep, won't happen.  Duane will get 5 minutes off the bench.  He will ride his guy, even if it's a point guard without D1 talent who picks up his dribble and gets in trouble down big in the final minute against walk-ons.
