With Todd Mayo’s excellent performance Friday night, it begs the question: Has the oft-maligned, yet uber-talented junior turned the corner and become the consistent player everybody knows he can be? With big brother O.J. in attendance against Southern, Todd poured in 20 points, including a pair [...]<img alt="" border="0" src="http://stats.wordpress.com/b.gif?host=painttouches.com&blog=28348875&post=9183&subd=painttouches&ref=&feed=1" width="1" height="1" />

Todd seemed like a man out there full of confidence. A few more passes to his teammates and he is a complete player.

I'm on board with this.  He can clearly score the ball and he plays some solid defense.  The only thing I am waiting to see is his decision making when he is not hot shooting the ball.

Love the picture of Todd driving. Almost looks like he has a smile on his face.

I don't know if it's some sort of "turn the corner" thing, or just developing physically and mentally.

Most guys get better with age and experience.

One game vs Southern hardly qualifies as havin' turned the corner.

Don't be jealous, there's still time for you to turn the corner, Dan.  A'ina?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Mayo has the most to gain from Blue leaving imho. Time for him to shine.  Will be fun to watch this year.

Yep, let's see a real sample size.  All signs are good, but Juan also "turned the corner" and Blue "regressed" after the first game last year.

He is much bigger physically than his SOTG picture.

I agree.  He's only 2" x 3" in the SOTG picture.
