You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

If Becky gets Looney and Stone it will be bedlam around here

Not sure what this author means by 'Can he match the recruiting of the Badgers?'

Tums Festival

"Buzz Williams would love to add the big man to his roster, but can he match the recruiting of the Badgers?" WTF? Since when did Bo Ryan become such a dynamic recruiter?

From way out there in North Carolina, it probably seems like the Badgers get every Wisconsin big man because they have in the past when they were all from out-state Wisconsin. Also, MU's new status as the "cool school" in Wisconsin probably hasn't reached them yet.

And if Becky loses Looney and we get Stone, it will be bedlam on their boards. What's your point? Kinda seems like you actively want that to happen so you can polish Bo's knob and troll here more.

If that happens, they'll be cuttin' down the nets.

And if we land Stone with all the talent we have at the 1-4 we wouldn't? These are hardly UW-specific statements.

Cuz 4Ever thinks Looney is the second coming--Stone is just the icing on the cake.

A chance for a couple hundred posts on what a great coach/recruiter Bo is, I guess MU isn't really the cool school in Wisconsin, how the board would have gone nuts if TC lost two top in state guys to UW? He'd be in his own peculiar, "ironic" version of heaven.

I just hope they are correct.  I'll take 1 of 2 with Wisconsin over 1 of 5 with the others in the mix.

Nice to say, but still highly unlikely. That assumes Looney stays 2 years and assumes that somehow Bo Ryan with 2 top-10s automatically beats guys like K and Cal who will still have more decorated talent in terms of quantity and quality (considering the guys they get will probably still be rated higher than Looney or Stone).

Funny, Bo says they'd cut the nets down with just Looney alone. Must just be recrutin' talk, hey?

Let's see; Kaminsky (Sr), Looney (Fr), Dekker (Jr), Gasser (Sr), and Koenig (So) with little quality depth.  Yeah, just recruiting talk.

Nope. Bo will do for them what he did for Brian Butch. They'll still find a way to lose in the dance.

That line-up isn't a world beater.

When Diamond comes to Marquette, he will be a star, a focal point, and the offense will really run through him - with him scoring or opening lanes and opportunities for the others. With the talent around him, there is no reason to think that MU would not be in a serious hunt for the title.  Go Marquette !

This.

Think of Otule. Cyclops has starred in the 5 for MU pretty much most of his healthy career!

Diamond in the center spot is pretty much a lock for most of his freshman year and the rest of his career in blue and gold.

Really?  You have a decent big man, two solid scoring options on the front line, a defensive guard in Gasser and a supposedly decent PG in Koenig.

That's a good line up.

Eh....life goes on.  I feel perfectly comfortable with Marquette's program.
