Yeah, I'd seen that video before .. I'm kinda surprised that whoever taped it would make that public, as they come off as a-holes, screwing with the handicapped.  Same mentality that does bum fights, I suppose.

OK. You are right. I assumed this being the MUScoop board.

Still, I don't find it even the slightest bit amusing. I'm really not much of a prude, and I actively distance myself from Freeway when I see him because I think he is belligerent, but those kids were treating him as a sub-human. It is really just a disgusting show of humanity.

The kid was wearing a black hat with white trim. Not anything for certain, but hints at UWM.

kind of bugs me to watch this... the guy does nothing wrong, is a hell of a fan, and supports teams like the Bucks even though they are terrible... obviously hes had hard times in his life, why do this?

This was completely sad. Freeway should just be left alone. I can't even imagine that these were Marquette fans.  IMO I believe that MU fans would have a little more respect for Mr. McCarter. He's a wonderful Wisconsin sports fan and deserves a lot more respect than he was given in this "interview".

lets not pretend here that MU students are unlike any other students in the world... they are college students and believe it or not there are just as many "mean" people who go to MU as there are "mean" people who go to UWM. I am not an alum or current student at MU but I am just as big if not a bigger fan of MU than most but i still find it odd that some folks from MU feel they are superior or that MU students are not capable of doing something like this. WRONG! it could have very well been a UWM student or a MU student or even for that matter a student at MSOE or MATC but lets not point fingers because there is no way to know what school these kids go to

Those kids are punks. They could have just as easily sat him down and asked him harmless questions about sports and gotten Freeway to answer. You can tell that Freeway was uncomfortable and knew something didn't add up. Instead, they have to mock him and try to embarass him. Very pathetic. I don't care what school they go to, that was pretty low end.

no doubt... it would have been 10 x's funnier had they asked freeway questions about sports that he could have responded to in a "freeway type way."  Dumb questions about man love and such...just stupid.  Just don't ask him about hockey.

perhaps... i thought this was pretty low... im not entirely sure on the whole story about freeway and how he became such a big figure in Milwaukee sports but it isnt something he can help so it shouldn't be made fun of... now however PRN... thats someone we can all laugh at!
