Otule's Glass Eye

Game between San Francisco and St. Louis in the NFL Network - commentators said Jim Harbaugh's player Jon Baldwin was a high school basketball star, and was offered a scholarship by Crean and Marquette. Funny coincidence that Crean is Harbaugh's brother-in-law and Baldwin now plays under Harbaugh. Never though I would hear an MU reference in an NFL game.

Hey, I'm just glad that the commentators didn't say that it was Indiana Coach Tom Crean that offered Baldwin a scholarship (while at some other school).
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

ZiggysFryBoy

wonder which Harbaugh family in-law emailed the announcers with that tidbit tonight....

Baldwin sucks.

Yeah, and that's why he was offered by....

Hopefully, you hear plenty of MU references this year on the Fox-televised games.
If not, then they will have pretty much sealed the fate of FS1 network.
