Also worth noting that he redshirted at Chipola JC.  Tried to find some stats of how he did last year and finally found out he redshirted.

Which means he will have to graduate from the Juco this year.  And I think since he redshirted last year, that would leave him with three years of eligibility.

Exactly. Rating don't mean a whole lot.  And, even if they do, the difference between a lot of top 50 guys and top 150 guys is negated by one year of above average development.
