According to him, he was thinking "Man, this grey t-shirt would really go with my shoes..."

Seriously?  Cause he wore a t-shirt to a club?  Maybe you should lose respect for him cause he's in a club where people are getting drunk in public, how low brow.  Come on.  It's from a rapper's clothing line.  Get over yourself.

If he becomes Tony Romo where he can't play in front of girls I'll lose respect.  If he destroys his lungs and can't play good minutes or run as fast I'll lose respect.  If he blows all his money I'll lose respect for him.  For wearing a juvenile Tshirt to a club I see no reason to freak out.

Cut the guy some slack. He didn't do anything wrong, hes not in trouble. The guy went out with some friends to a night club. This is a non issue, ditch the shirt and move on.

Just one of those things that these guys have to realize they are in the public light, people like to take pictures....assume EVERYONE has a camera.  That sucks, but that's the deal.  In this case he obviously knew there was a camera because he posed in the picture, but they have to assume little privacy as much as that sucks because it will end up ultimately on a site somewhere.

If he doesn't care, then no big deal.  If image is an issue of concern for him, then he'll have to be more careful.  Pretty simple.

I sure am glad he wasn't wearing that shirt when he put his arm around my 12 year old daughter for a photo at Buzz's BBQ a few weeks ago.

You're going to tell me you think NBA players aren't smoking the hippie lettuce on the regular as it is and this shirt is what's going to throw up a red flag?

What next? They play XBOX a lot too?

Yeah, It's an issue.

Just wait until Belling starts ragging (AGAIN) that Buzz has issues with recruiting thugs.  We can all tell stories of meeting these guys in public, and about how respectful and nice these kids are, but all we need is a picture like this and it all goes to hell.  This reflects on OUR alma mater.

I'll bet you dollars to donuts Buzz called Jimmy.

No, it's not an issue. People like you want it to be an issue because you're scared of Mark Belling, which is sad.

I hope Buzz didn't call Butler, because he would also look like a clown.

Scared.  Please.  I just hate it when he trashes MU.  He will trash MU for any reason.  I really hate when he calls MU players thugs, because many of us have met them.  We know that Buzz teaches them to behave like gentlemen, and holds them accountable.

As far as Buzz calling, I would expect the call to go something like this:

"Jimmy, its Coach.  Saw your picture with the gray tshirt, you know the one.  C'mon Jimmy.  Love you.  Talk to you later."

Same as I would do for my son.  Wouldn't be mad.  Just

Belling is going to find a way to trash MU regardless and the people who believe what he says are going to find ways to trash MU as well. Who cares?
