There are numerous debates on this board regarding whether the college game is a guard's game or a big man's game.

I will only say this, if it is a big man's game, we should be in for a real treat this year.

Otule, playing like he did at the end of last year, coupled with Davante, who has matured into a consistent offensive threat, will give us a great advantage. The fact that they are both "seniors" increases their potential impact. Add in, for flavoring, a sophomore Steve Taylor and the McKay (hoping he can make a quick JUCO to NCAA adjustment) and we have quite a front court.

Can't wait to see it in action.

And you didn't even mention our best frontcourt player.

I am pretty sure that Robert Jackson has graduated...

(Note: I don't really think of J. Wilson as frontcourt, but I am not sure why. He most definitely is....)

Yes, Jamil is best at the 4.

I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

What's the deal with McKay? The guy looks like freakin Terrence Blackledge! He's 200 pounds and Deonte Burton is 230, Burton is 5 inches shorter. I don't see how he gets minutes with Taylor, Wilson, Gardner and Otule.

His game is more of a 4/5.  He gets minutes because he is high energy guy...especially with Taylor coming off a knee injury.

IMO he starts at 5 in 2014-15.

Bigmen are not worth much, if they do not have good guards to get them the ball. The best center in college basketball generally does not win the NCAA title.

Blackledge did not want to play inside  and hung out on the perimeter. It sounds like McKay likes to go inside.
