Anyone notice that Ron Howard - so very briefly at Marquette - was playing for Indiana?

Well, Opie could always shoot it.

JMcSteal

Anyone notice Liam McMorrow playing for the Knicks in the summer league?

Looking at the numbers, solid performances by crowder and lockett. Vander shot 2 for 12, unfortunately. It doesnt look like cadougan got any pt with the bucks.

Edit: forgot djo is playing for denver. Hes Got 10pts on 3 for 8 shooting

Why Jae Crowder is the most important person to watch during summer league.

Thanks for finding that...that's a great article.  A player like him could end up going either way.  If he gets better at the big things, he'll have a nice long career.  If he doesn't, he might not last all that long.

Dallas-Charlotte Jae Crowder played first half talked about his game in depth and said he lost 15 lbs. this summer.
He looks the same to me,hard to tell if hes quicker but he def has trouble guarding quick, athlectic forwards. Did Jae get
a 1 or 2 year contract? As of now hes projected in the 8-man rotation.

Liam McMorrow is still the great 'what-if' of Buzz's MU career.   Stupid heart condition.

Lazar great numbers today. 13 points on 4/5 shooting with 2 steals in 15 minutes.

I'm watching Trent Lockett run guard for Sacramento against the Toronto. He looks pretty comfortable with the ball dribbling up top.

ChitownSpaceForRent

Yea, Trent has been playing really solid. Dont know if he will make the team but hes putting himself in a good position. Especially because its Sacramento.

WarriorFan

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Trent Lockett has a better chance of making an NBA team this year than Vander.

I talked to Sacramento's GM in Vegas and I asked them what they think about him...he told me they definitely like him and know that he's a hard worker who lets the game come to him. I think he's definitely going to get an opportunity to make the team in training camp.

Back to Vegas now.

Vander's shooting percentage at 29%. That's not going to get it done. He needs to drive to the basket for more layups or fouls.
