Thought it would be a good idea to track how MU alums play in Orlando and Vegas. Confirmed participants...

Orlando:
Jerel McNeal (Utah)
DJO (Boston)
Vander Blue (Houston)

Vegas:

Dwight Buycks (Miami)
Jae Crowder (Dallas)
Vander Blue (Memphis)
Trent Lockett (Sacramento)

GGGG

Are these leagues played at the same time?  Does Vander travel back and forth?

They play in Orlando first, then Vegas.

I believe Dwight Buycks is playing for OKC for Orlando. All his tweets have been #thunderup.

Any news on Hayward? I haven't heard anything since he was at the Jazz mini-camp a little while ago.

Got injured playing in the d league and was subsequently waived by the defenders is the last I heard but that was April
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Hey if I've if you younger geeks has time or can find it, I'd be curious on.. over the past several years how many recent college players (ONLY guys who played college ball just months before the draft) went undrafted but played in the NBA that first potential season... & how many total recent-college players in appeared on an NBA summer league roster
The portal is NOT closed.

Oh snap, Lockett in Sacramento? I'll definitely be watching NBA TV to see what he does.

Is there one place that has all the rosters for both leagues? Searching and having a hard time finding.

Not sure about the summer league question but...

6 undrafted rookies saw NBA action in 2012-13.

5 undrafted rookies saw NBA action in 2011-12.

3 undrafted rookies saw NBA action in 2010-11.

5 undrafted rookies saw NBA action in 2009-10.

5 undrafted rookies saw NBA action in 2008-09.

I had posted something similar on another thread a couple weeks ago, but it looks like my numbers from that post were slightly off.

Junior is playing for the Bucks
I believe that Junior will be trying out to earn a spot on the Bucks' summer league roster.  He is not on the roster yet.

Was just reading that Houston will have to dump quite a bit of salary to make room for Howard. Good news for Vanderbilt, maybe he can snag the last roster spot on the cheap. They are reportedly trying to trade Osik and sign Josh Smith which would require 2-3 minimum guys at end of bench.

MU B2002

Vanderbilt?  Gotta love auto correct.

It looks like each team releases their Summer League roster on their team website. Haven't found all rosters in one spot.

Buzz must have gritted his teeth getting thru dinner with Vander. You know, all that hate.

Mr. Nielsen

Live on NBA TV, Buzz is sitting under the basket on the right side. Vander in the first game, than DJO.

Of course, no one really said that....

Avenue Commons

Vander looks 2-3 inches taller than DJO and Jerel and Dwight in that picture. Vander is a big kid. Maybe it's the angle.

Van can't even get into a summer league game...Not looking good for his chances.

Galway Eagle

Anybody want to post any of our guys game stats? I can't find them.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

MUCrew

DJO getting some burn with the C's.
