First of all I want to compliment and thank you guys for what I believe is absolutely by far the best source for MU basketball information on the web.  By actually creating a community on the basis of sharing information, versus restricting to only paying customers, it fosters an invironment that creates even more information.  At the end of the day multiple sources creates a flow of information that far surpasses what any single source can generate or horde.  The automatic updates from Cracked Sidewalks, Rosiak and others are wonderful.
To that end, while it is not always MU information we are all mostly familiar with the Bullseye Bros.  They have a new blog that you may want to hook up to automatically update like the others or at least provide a link to, they usually have alot of info on MU targets.

Again, great job guys.

The auto updates are nice, but they really do clutter the page and makes the site seem more like a news blog.  Any way to put them on the side rather than a a new thread?

rocky_warrior

Hmmm - usually they stimulate a lot of conversation, so I'm inclined to leave them.  Putting them on the side isn't really an option.  We could create a new-feeds forum so that they'd be on a separate page.  I'm interested in thoughts and suggestions.

Can't please all of the people all of the time.

I love that it scrapes into a thread, so it can be discussed.  There aren't that many .. maybe 10/week. .. don't think that that's much "clutter".

I love them...as you state they flow into a thread.  They are usually thought invoking "updates" to things on the mind of MU BBall fans and then discussion ensues.  They are great versus the contra of a snippet of information to then come join $$$$.  As i stated before due to an open forum like this it has now resulted in having even more content than is available anywhere else regardless of cost.

Thanks for the kudos.  We enjoy this site as much as anyone else and use it for the same purpose - to learn about and discuss our favorite college basketball team.  It wouldn't even be a shadow of what it is without everyone who contributes so really the kudos should be to everyone, not just us mods.

We're always open for new ideas and suggestions - please keep them coming!

Life must suck when you're bitter over such petty crap.

It's a big world in the internets (thanks, Prez  ;)). Some like this, some like the other. No need for debbie downer.

Harry is to Dodds and IWB as PRN is to Tom Crean.

No bitterness just stating that a community of sharing and working together to diseminate information will always end up with better results than one that offers less by trying to shelter it...throw in the price and it is a model that severly limits itself.    A fort on the prairie if you will.
