"All my guys are saying they have NO clue. Kept everyone in dark.RT @DylanCogdill: @GoodmanESPN what's your guy telling you for Looney today?"

MUCrew

Jerry Meyer said his source says UCLA or Florida.

Anyone stop by the badger boards? Meltdown? Or did Bo cool on Looney?

Congratulations Kevin. Enjoy sunny California.

What time do his parents have to leave Milwaukee to drive to Westwood twice each week?

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Dang! I did not see that one coming. Bully for Alford

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

"Kevon Looney turned down some outstanding college coaches in order to play at UCLA."

I checked Buckyville just for a laugh. Most seemed to recognize that they didn't have a chance. The biggest sentiment I'm seeing is "Why get coached by Alford when you can get coached by Ryan?"

Victoria told me they may just move to LA.

Thank God his decision is done so we can get our focus back to Scrabble and gluten.

Steve Alford huh, yeesh.
Really? Looks like the UCLA hire is already paying benefits. A guy from Indiana by way of Mo., Iowa. and NM goes to a down trending UCLA program and snaps up one of the best studs from our own backyard.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

That has to be the most random, out of the blue pick by an elite player in some time.   Never once heard that Alford was on him.   Oh, well, at least is wasn't Wisconsin.

Good for Kevon.

Best of luck to him and his family.

Did KL at least say Bucky was a close second place??

So all of those gurus had Duke a day ago some switching to Fla.
Maybe they don't know sheet after all.

What part of "I want to go away for college" don't you understand? Buzz knew that from very early on, and this decision proves it. You can't handcuff a kid in state. Sometimes being the in-state program hurts you. I know I wanted to get away from home for college. I considered zero in-state schools. Marquette was one of the closest I applied to, and it was an 11.5 hour drive.

Didn't someone (coach?) say this was the strangest recruitment he had ever seen?

I'll take MU's '14 class over UCLA's.
