Vander
Nah, he had one year to go.  He has indicated that he wants to get his degree at some point.

Junior has a tryout with the Bucks today, FWIW.

That's got to just be local talent filler to help facilitate the other guys' workouts, right?

If Mo Acker is still playing, Junior will continue to play.

I think you are selling Maurice short. He is superior to Junior in every aspect of the game. Compare their two senior seasons:

FG%: Mo .443, Jr .431 (Ad Mo)
3P%: Mo .495, Jr .226 (Ad Mo)
FT%: Mo .727, Jr .714 (Ad Mo)
A/TO: Mo 3.1:1, Jr 1.53:1 (Ad Mo)
Stl: Mo 1.24, Jr 1.1 (Ad Mo)

Btw, Mo is thriving in Europe.

GGGG

Mo averaged 23.9 ppg for Nova Ves in the Slovakian Basketball League.  They lost in the league semifinals from what I could tell.

But he no longer has eligibility.

Hayward and Crowder  left school after their senior season ended to prep for the draft. Buycks was going to stick around and finish, but got summer league/camp invites he had to pursue.

I understand that Zar and Jae are very close to their degree.  Remember, it was absolutely critical for both of those guys to be fully committed to the NBA as soon as their Spring studies were completed.  Neither was in a position to suggest that they couldn't play in the Las Vegas rookie league because they owed Marquette a few credits.  I wouldn't be surprised to see both complete their degrees as time permits.

Not so sure on how close Jae is to walking down the aisle on graduation day. That one might be a stretch.

Anybody who is critical of Buzz's sport coat is so unbelievably wrong they should be banned. That jacket is spectacular and bears zero resemblance to the pictures you're comparing it to. I suppose you'd all be happy with a navy blue or black look? Or better yet, a pin striped zoom suit? Buzz is probably the best dressed guy in Milwaukee!

Yep. Jae had a ways to go. Remember, he had a lot of credits to make up at Howard. Lazar is very close. So is Buycks.

I have no problem with these guys doing everything they can to advance their careers. Unfortunately, some of the University leadership does.

I had heard through the grapevine that he was within a semester(ish). I could be in error.  Of course that stems at least in part from his early days prior to MU.  Our arch enemy Bob Huggins deserves some credit for getting Jae on the right path.

MU colors gotcha?

Not that matters at this point but I heard Jae was quite behind on path to graduation. He has found a nice career and if he decides to finish up that would be great. I think it might be more than a semester.

Buzz's dress code reminds one of early Bobby Knight.

And come on, at least Jerry has a half smirk.

Knight was in keeping with the '70's style with his checked sport coats and mutton chops. As his belly expanded he shifted gears and went with the sweater look, a la Rick Majerus.

He's buying only blue and gold. I'm good with that :)
