I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Anyone know if he's any relation to current NCC guard Drimir Ferguson?

Drimir is from the Bronx, not Virgina, and Ferguson is not an uncommon name, but just curious.

I wonder why he chose North Carolina Central. I heard he got offers from UVA, James Madison, and ODU just to name a few. NCCU tallest player is 6'7". What going on there? Bad choice.

I don't know enough about the situation to know whether it's a good or bad choice, but I have to say it's surprising.  Jamal sure seems to have the talent and athletic ability to be a significant contributor for a high major program.  I was thinking UVa or maybe ODU.  This one is puzzling.

Why would one assume that a guy who rarely played even a minute in MU games should be good enough for an ACC team or even an A-10 team?

Is Swanson still on the roster? I don't see his name but Dylan Flood is on the MU Athletic site roster.

Good catch. Looks like Buzz didn't renew his scholarship...

I was kidding. In any event, it would seem he has now walked off...

Considering Old Dominion a high major is more puzzling.

UNCC is a program on the upswing. Nice 2012-13.

IIRC they tied MU with about 6 minutes left to play in Milwaukee.

Marquette shot an incredible eFG% and got to the line a lot, but turned the ball over nonstop.

That would be...but I don't.  The high major reference was to UVa, not ODU.

That's unfortunate. He was going to be the next Novak.

Hopefully he comes back for the Elite 8 Banner ceremony and for the day we retire Otule's number.

Another walk on walks off. In the (small) minds of UW fans, surely this is worth another Buzz cutting thread.

#mubb forward Jamal Ferguson has been granted his release & will transfer. He appeared in 14 games (4.6 mpg.) in 12-13.

TWITTER TRACCCCCCCCKER

Seems like a good move for him considering his standing with all the other guys coming in.  Sucks tho because when he was a junior in HS i was pumped about his commitment

Because he was good enough to be recruited by a Big East team and Buzz in the first place?  Of course, there are misses all the time by all coaches, and that could be the case here.
