MU Wiki should have Selection Sunday and create a bracket for those up for banishment. Scoopers would vote on the matchup until we elect a new person to ban. (for fun or for real).

I do agree.  However, we do have very tolerant mods, and topper alluded to KW being limited to starting one new thread per day a while back.  My guess is that KW must have stepped over the line after being warned.

The mods don't always warn people before banning them.

KW might be a good dude in real life (I don't know him), but his online persona is that of a troll. Most of his posts are him "worrying" about something, which is another way of trying to create panic.

That and his attention seeking with starting multiple new threads on subjects where there are already threads. He clearly is just trying to stir the pot at times.

Guess i'm partial on this.  Kenosha reminds me of myself when i was younger.  Always worried, wanted to know first if Buzz was leaving or not.  Now i realize, whatever happens, happens. Kenosha means well, he's full of nervous energy, and we all are aware of this.  I don't mind him, and if he's a fan of MU, i'm a fan of his.

I'm all for the energy that Kenosha Warrior or any other posters brings. But a lot of that energy is put to unconstructive use. Particularily starting thread after thread after thread. The problem with this is that multiple threads "dilute" the functionality of a message board. If the board becomes a cluttered mess, then fewer people read it. You have to remember that people who post regularly are vastly outnumbered by those that are just "lurking" and don't even have a username. But those eyeballs are important to any website.

At least in college, he was definitely the same way in real life.

Guy is so crazy for Marquette that he would not buy a red heart disease shirt that the Park Boosters sold.  Instead he jus donated 5 bucks.
The more I read about badger fans on this board and the more I read the boards the more I am thinking of not cheering for them this football season.

I have yet to see anyone get banned here that didn't bring it on themselves. The mods are about as fair as they come. And my guess is it won't be a permanent ban, more a "see what we can do, now quit being an asshat." Probably be back in a month and given enough rope to either tie together any broken fences or hang himself. Which is just how it should be.

No question. I was not advocating what the young man said but, rather, his right to voice said opinion. Rather than gag him the more rational approach is to engage in dialogue to dissuade further irrationality. In the long run it is far more effective.
