Jake Thomas like the last game vs. Cuse?  I think if we miss some early three's there is a chance Jake gets out there for 3-4 possessions.  May need to soften the zone a bit if they pack it in and we miss some open shots early.

Also, with Cuse's length and ability to double post and make passes into the post difficult will we see Gardner and Otule on the floor together for a few possessions?

EDIT:  Maybe Taylor as well?  There is some softness in their zone around 15-17 feet but with their length hard for guards to get shots off.  taylor would have the length.  Obviously Jamil will have his chances but I wonder if Taylor will have a chance for a few mid-range shots?

Maybe if Jake Thomas could actually hit the three ball.

Syracuse knows he's a non-factor.

Thomas played because nothing was falling and Buzz was looking for anyone to give us a shot in the arm. Hopefully we won't have need for Thomas tomorrow, but if we do, let's hope he can hit another shot or two like the one that spurred us to victory in Milwaukee.

All the more reason why he might get an open three in the game like he did last game.  That three he hit versus Cuse turn the game around for Marquette.

No Jake 'cause we have shooters now. We should win this game...

The real question is, will we see Mayo.  He was much bigger in that game than Jake Thomas, even with the 4 point play

If Vander's play continues along the trend, then we'll see very little of Mayo and Jake. And I'm sure that's exactly the way those two would want it.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
