Wade and Buzz are on the same page:
"I'm excited for Marquette to be back in the Sweet 16 again," Wade said. "I don't want my team to be satisfied with that. I feel like we've been there the past three years. We haven't done anything.

He feels like we've been there the last 3 years? Astute feeling, Dwyane.

MarsupialMadness

Wade goes on to say, "Listen, I know a thing or two about winning, and losing in the S16's is not winning."

You might want to read the whole quote in context jackwagon.

Dwyane Wade: Marquette fan who would rather win than lose.

Those Marquette goggles fit pretty snug, huh? They seem to be suffocating your brain.

I think it's worth reinforcing that this team has indeed been there for three straight years and that they are going to be playing with a little more of an edge than Miami to get over that hump. We must avoid the inevitable nickname (if we lose) of the "Buffalo Bills of the Sweet 16."

That's the comeback? ?-(

Lets read what the columnist wrote. "I feel like", "we've been there the past three years. We haven't done anything."

Make more sense?

We have accomplished a "Whole Hell of a Lot"  this season considering what expectations were. I for one think we move on Thursday but if we don't this was one heck of a ride for a team that was not considered able to move beyond the middle of the pack.

Speaking of Dwyane Wade.... Here's a 2003 game that popped up on my youtube suggestions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGDeb7dzmwM

He was pretty good. Seeing glimpses of that bench though, sheesh, I think our current bench would beat them by 85 in a game to 100.

That amateur-hour production makes me so glad we are in a power conference...

Honestly, the most impressive part of that video are the 4 bank shots.

I've seen other guys do everything else he does in the video (dunk, spin move, shoot 3's, pull-up, etc.).

But, I've never seen ANYBODY use the glass like he did. The only guy that even compares in the modern era is Duncan, and he's not doing it with the speed that Dwyane does.

Good call on the glass. He was beyond special during his days here.

Duncan? Come on! Scottie Pippen was the master of the bank shot in the modern era.

Ironically, I believe the bank now owns most of Pip's possessions.
