In an amazing coincidence, I'm heading to DC on Thursday for a volleyball tournament that starts Friday. I didn't even realize until they mentioned it during the game that the Sweet Sixteen was there. Wow!  How do you get tickets?

I'd love to! I'll be in NYC for Easter but have unchangable plans on Thursday. It's possible for the game to be scheduled on Friday, right?

He just started walkin'. Headin' east on Wilshire as we type. Who's gonna post the Chicos' tracker 'til Thursday when he has lunch with his old roomie, Barry?

Thanks. I saw that too. I'll put my name in, but I doubt I'll get tickets that way. If anybody has a line on tickets, please PM me.

Actually I'm not.  Wish I were, but have something I need to take care of out here.

What other airports besides Dulles are decent options (no more than 2-ish hour drive)?

If* I go, any hot Scoop chicks want to share a telly?

Reagan or Baltimore better than Dulles.  Can take the Metro from either.

CrazyEcho

Amtrak from Baltimore, but same idea

CrazyEcho

fair enough . . . you can either take a metro bus to greenbelt and metro it in or take an amtrak to union station.

Wisco

Might make the drive up from Richmond. We shall see.

Norm

I'll be there, just bought full strip tickets on stubhub for the East Regional.

You can probably hook up with F*ckin' or share his old lady.

If you can find a cheap flight, Reagan. Otherwise BWI up in Baltimore or Richmond.

95% sure I'm going to Washington. 75% sure Mrs. MU82 will join me.

Reagan is by far the best choice for those flying in. Easy Metro trip in, and lots of hotels right near the airport and the Metro.

We'd be staying Thurs night at the Renaissance downtown. Outrageously expensive if you're paying but only 30k points if you're a Marriott frequent stayer. Great hotel, 4 blocks from arena.

We don't have tickets yet and won't buy 'em until plans finalized tomorrow. But just checked Stubhub and they have some for that session at about $150. Please don't buy 'em before I can!

Hopefully, the folks in charge of such things will have a meeting-up location for before and after the game as well as on the off-day if -- I mean, WHEN -- we advance to the Elite Eight!

That's a ?, not a 7, so it will be revised.

Great call on the hotel MU82! Got the first 2 nights on points and they have a $199.00 special for Friday and Saturday nights. Thanks!

Unfortunately, can't go.  But strangely, we have good friend coming home for Easter from DC.
