Whatever do you mean?

I find it perfectly reasonable to put four ACC teams in the top 10, despite the ridiculous number of departures and uncertainty that surround three of them (while excluding this year's national finalist for basically the same reason).

It makes perfect sense to put a team who won the Big East regular season and was one of the last 8 teams playing -- AND WHO RETURNS NEARLY EVERYONE -- only at the 9 spot. probably because they're going to be playing in a weak conference or something like that.

I mean, this is 100% objective. What are you insinuating?

Keep wearing your blue and gold goggles. I prefer a little objectivity. Take a national poll and ask people about MU and Georgetown. You'll quickly find out that Georgetown's profile is much, much higher. Hell, half the people I talk to think Marquette is in Michigan.

To deny that Georgetown is the big dog in the new Big East is either silly or stupid.

Take a poll of every other conference in America and see how many want to add Georgetown...[crickets chirping]

Georgetown is a good program and Thompson is a good coach and appears to be a real gentleman. They will definitely help the New Big East gain credibility, which is a good thing. If Buzz keeps recruiting like he has with this next class, and lands guys like Stone and Looney, Georgetown can be the second biggest dog in the Big East.

Sorry, but Georgetown brings the most to the table. I'm willing to give them a longer leash.

I am with you, Groin. There is a reason some countries have veto power at the UN. They have intercontinental-range nukes. Georgetown is the US. Seton Hall is Benin.

Georgetown Hoyas- They are the Nuts on the Boulevard and know it.

Butler Bulldogs - Like Israel you better take them seriously or they'll kick your ass. Every few years they get hot and turn heads. A sexy Bracket Buster pick.

Villanova Wildcats - They have had their moments, look good at the beginning of the season but someone is always just a little better and kicks their ass

Creighton Blue Jays - Italy kicked Ethiopia's ass then fought the Brits. Creighton kicked ass in the MVC then joined the Big East...

Seton Hall Pirates - Living on some imagined past glory that really never was.

DePaul Blue Demons - They used to be Kick Ass but that was a long time ago. A really long time ago

Keefe,

Good stuff.  You have me wanting more after reading this... Xavier, Providence, etc...

Love the pictures, particularly the Israeli Army girls. Looks to me like they could easily get opposing army to drop their weapons quickly.

Not to be snarky, but none of the girls I know from Skokie look like these chicks.
Have some patience, FFS.

I get your point but Israel has more gorgeous women per square inch than any other piece of real estate on God's Earth. Not sure what's in the chicken soup over there but Good Lord they breed 'em well. Tel Aviv is one of the world's best stocked ponds. My God, those beaches!

The IDF is one of the world's finest fighting forces. They are certainly the best looking.

Bet the rate of accidental discharge of their weapons is high in that case.

Marquette Warriors - US SOCOM has the finest warriors in the world. They undergo the most grueling training, have the very best armaments, equipment and facilities, possess the most tenacious spirit, are utterly fearless, and follow visionary leaders into combat. They always make an impact but never fight the decisive battle. Still, they are feared and respected like no other by all who must oppose them. As Vander Blue said, "I want people to ask, 'Do we have to play those guys?'"

Providence Friars - Chinese Nationalist Leader Chiang Kai Shek ran the table against local Chinese War Lords as he unified the nation as a modern political state. The world stood up and took notice as the West recognized the new China under Chiang's undefeated Kuomintang. Chiang's China was a popular pick in those early non-conference contests. But then the Regular Season started and first Japan then Mao tse Tung's Communist Chinese kicked the sh1t out of Chiang's KMT forces. Next thing he knew Chiang was out of the rankings and living on Taiwan where people were calling him Asia's Keno Davis.

Early victories against the war lords found Chiang undefeated - the Happy Days

A Loss to Tojo's Imperial Falcons ends the unbeaten season

A crushing loss to Mao's Red Raiders leaves Chiang out of the rankings

Someone hasn't done their homework on what teams are in what conferences. There are three ACC teams in the top 10. It is interesting to note there are three AAC teams listed in the top 15.

No disrespect intended, but somehow, the pictures of the Israeli Army ladies create a woody, while the pictures of our US Warriors more appropriately belong in a Military Handbook.

AAC will be as top heavy as that Israeli soldier. Louisville, Memphis and UCONN. Maybe Cincinnati and Temple as a bubble teams. That's it. And then Louisville will be gone after next year. They will have 1 year of relevance in bball and football, and then will become the new Conference USA, while the old Conference USA becomes the new Sun Belt.
