so with a little over a minute left uconn is struggling to get the ball past half court, and it goes out bounds off a gtown player before the ball ever crosses half court.  uconn then inbounds it and crosses the half court line with about 18 seconds on the shot clock...is that possible?  i would think either the gtown player had possession and the shot clock restarts, or the shot clock doesn't restart and uconn would have needed to get the ball across half court with 25 or more seconds on the shot clock.  as a result... a shot clock violation on uconn.

I was alittle off with shooting percentage, but Georgetown 9 and 1 with him getting the extended play.

Yup. One of the dumbest rules in the game, IMO. We've benefited from it at least twice this year.

Don't forget that the reason we're in line for Otto's dramatics is that GTown choked a double digit lead late in the game. Not much of a horseshoe in that.

Hoyas deserve the crown because they play to their system with intensity and emotion rather than losing their head and flailing around.

I would go nuts if I was a UCONN fan.  Boatright and Shabazz (love that name) can be so incredibly infuriating to watch.  They don't involve other players, jack up some crazy street ball shots, and compete for attention.  Never have been a fan of Boatright, and wouldn't be surprised if his teammates weren't either.

Nova is a tournament-caliber team. Tough to beat tournament-caliber teams in their gyms.
