And some people *think* he may be rethinking his decision........

Where'd you hear that? He's not leaving UNC. DeCourcey talked about him in Jan, saying how much he liked Chapel Hill.

This.

The grass sometimes isn't greener than your own backyard.

The grass is greenest where you water it.  And right now I'm calling Buzz the Fireman.

Justin Bieber reference?
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Dogs are too habitual of pissers and will eventually kill off the same spot they urinate on time after time.

After the way they turned on him?  Provided he didn't pay attention to the Badger fans bashing him after his decision and saying he was cowardly for how he informed Bo, they would look like hypocrites welcoming him home with open arms

Sure they would. But they'd still kill to have him. Not sure how JP feels, though.

Yeah, usually the grass dies.

Now, where it poops is a completely different matter.....
Have some patience, FFS.

Just because a few message board people bashed him, that is hardly representative of the entire fanbase.

Do you think if he felt otherwise that he would announce it in an interview?

(I assume this is about Tokoto)

averaging 3 points in 10 minutes per game this season .... and 5 minutes an 0.6 points in the last 5 games (26 total minutes and 3 total points) ... and given who UNC recruits (the top players) and given UNC's history of lots of transfers ... it is reasonable to think he will transfer.  Question is whether MU is a place he lands?

I think we have to be careful here.  No one knows how this kid is feeling. If we use the stats as an indication, we should expect, maybe even believe it reasonable, that Jamal Ferguson and Derrick Wilson will be transferring from Marquette as they have comparable statistics.

We are oversigned by 1 and a lot of people think this for the same reason as my comments about Tokoto.  That said, thinking it does not mean we want it to happen.  I would be very happy if both stayed but we all know someone has to get voted off the island.

Aren't we only oversigned by 1 if Otule stays for a 6th year? (or we get an incoming transfer)

The NCAA has cleared a 6th year for Otule (per the PT article today), Buzz wants him back and I think most fans do too.  But yes, if he, or anyone else decides not to play next year, then we are no longer over-signed.

They were saying he was cleared as far back as a year ago. Can't remember when Buzz first said it, but he seemed 100% confident in post-game interviews before the end of last season.

NersEllenson

Back to the topic of Diamond Stone - he would be a HUGE get for Buzz and MU - and it seems to be a possibility.

The success of Davante Gardner, should be a great example/illustration, of how a big would be utilized and involved in Buzz's system - and can be showcased, and succeed, even if just a 2-3 star talent.

The time is drawing near where soon MU will need to be looked at as one of the blue bloods again in college hoop - hard to find 10 better programs over the past 10 years.....and Buzz has it rolling looking at what returns next year, along with what's coming in next year's freshman class.

As Buzz calls it - "starting to reap compound interest."
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

Yes everyone was confident it would be approved ... The Paint Touch today was the first reference I was that said he was approved.

Stone is a Sophomore this year, correct?

I think Joe Wolf made the NBA but I think he would have developed a better game as a main cog at MU.

He played 12 NBA seasons.  He did just fine for himself.

Is Jake Thomas a scholarship player? Could he afford to pay his own way?
