Tugg Speedman

16 minutes, 4 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.  On a per minutes basis he is as effective as Ox.

Steve, now learn how to play defense and you will never sit again.

At times he reminds me of a very young and raw Jae Crowder, sans the 3-point range. He just has a nose for the ball. Excellent rebounder and just seems to know where to be and when. Can't wait to see him develop.

Funny thing is...he has that range from three. I see him being a more physical Jamil. He know how to bang inside and has a pretty jumper.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Love that Buzz rode him til the end. That lineup with Cadougan, Mayo, Jamil & Gardner was highly effective. Big lineup, offense at every position.

Imagine if we could get blue to run the point, mayo the two, jamil three, steve four, and Gardner as the five.  Wouldn't that be the best possible offensive team?  Possible for next year?

Stronghold

Junior played damn well tonight.  Only 1 TO and a great job defensively snagging 4 steals.

38 minutes, 12 points, 1 turnover, and you are still trying to get Cadougan out of the line up?   If nothing else, I admire your consistency.

I never said Junior didn't play great tonight, I'm just saying couldn't those five be an interesting line up to play.  But Buzz would never sit junior without bringing D Wilson in.

Niv Berkowitz

He is a cross between Trend Blacklige's athleticism and young Lazar's knack for finding the ball. I love his game.

therein lies the proverbial rub.

He's way more athletic than Jae was/is. If he continues to develop, he could be a very special player for us.

It's pretty encouraging that Buzz is willing to give him significant minutes in an important BEast game this late in the season.

PuertoRicanNightmare

He's nothing like Jae Crowder. He is the best freshman we've had since I don't know when. A future first round draft pick, I suspect.
