First guy to admit I was against the hire. Actually I was against the hiring process and uncertain about Buzz. Gladly admit I was completely wrong.

Just to clarify - by TCU You mean Tom Crean's University (he had that L'etat c'est Moi! attitude after all.)

Or do you mean the Horned Frogs?

If the latter I want my vote back!

That was the one day I was ashamed to say I was a Warrior. I had gathered with mates to watch from a sports bar at San Antonio. The taunts of friends stung but the shame was what hurt the most

Don't know what was worse...being at the western Michigan game or watching the Michigan state game in public in Madison. F*ckin Michigan.

I watched the Western Michigan at Moose Mcgillycuddy's in Lahaina.  You get some weird looks when you set out to watch a NIT game in Maui.

Please. You mean F*ckin State of Michigan.

Long before I knew life would take me to Ann Arbor I cheered for Marquette in Al's last regular season game which was against Michigan's #1 Ranked team led by Rickey Green and Phil Hubbard. The game was at Crisler and there was some talk of Marquette not getting a bid. Marquette was ahead at half and before the game ended MU had its bid. Many said because of that half time lead on the road against #1 Michigan. We ended up losing by two points but it was academic at that point. We were in the Dance. It was also Al's last loss ever.

Great bar.

Moose's is a fantastic bar. So fantastic, in fact, I "forgot" my wallet there.

As good as Buzz is, the former AD woulda found a replacement.

Larranaga's not too bad, aina? Should be coach of the year. I'm figurin' if the university has a commitment to basketball, we'll be alright. The X factor is Larry.

Oh, believe me I agree with you 100%.  We'll be just fine.  Some, here, think that there is only one person on planet earth that could be coaching MU where we are now and honestly I don't get it.  Not with the resources we have and the commitment.

Cottingham did hit a grand slam with his one hire but he wasn't the AD at the time of the Western Michigan debacle. Our other one's have had mixed results at best.

It's too bad our current AD is more worried about not playing "the hey song" during the 2nd half than he is helping the basketball program
