the best former Warrior to wear #33 was Bernard Toone. Here's hoping TW struts his stuff at the Final Four like BT.

32NCAAs

I think David Diggs was the most recent cager to wear 33... just a random thought.

mu_hilltopper

The wiki probably isn't exhaustive .. but gives many of them.

Grimm was the last to wear #33.

Schoolyard

Christoferson is wearing 0...are we not retiring ODB's number?
My handle is Schoolyard but I do my best work at Finley Dunnes...Joe Kenny in '08

I guess Scott wants the opposing team to recognize!

The current best #0 to ball: Gilbert Arenas. Let's hope Scott can go off like him and not go off somewhere else like ODB!
SS Marquette

Scott will be a better Warrior and have a better career than the other guy who wore #0, Oliver Lee.

Per gomarquette.com

Just out of curiosity, does anyone remember if Trend was listed on the gomarquette.com roster last year before the clearinghouse was done with him?
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

mu_hilltopper

I don't remember Trend and Clearinghouse issues .. did you mean Lazar?

Tulsa Warrior

Trend had to take a ton of summer school classes to get into Marquette.  Still I don't remember any coverage of a NCAA backlog keeping him off campus.

Blackledge deserves a lot of credit (no pun) for working on his academics to get in the door.

Yes, I do mean Lazar.  Does anyone remember if Marquette had him on the roster before he was released?  I think it's a good sign that they've got Trevor on there, but it might mean nothing.

Anyone know if Mbakwe will be suited-up for the open scrimmage Tues nite?

mu_hilltopper

Not unless the clearinghouse comes through by then.  (Which is a possibility, slim.)

has to be good news that Mu would go so far as to put him on the roster...suanders was never on it or was he?

spiral97

guys... the real question we should all be asking is if george thompson approved this number for use...
Once a warrior always a warrior.. even if the feathers must now come with a beak.

I talked to Christopherson tonight. He told me Mbakwe made it to MU earlier on Saturday.

Harrison

If this is true it is the best news that MU Basketball has received since DJ and Jerel both called Crean on the same night!!

The roster was released after the Saunders announcement.

How about some love for Oliver Lee?

Oliver Lee (Deland, Florida- I think) did a great thing by coming to MU when he was recruited by other schools..., for starters.
