Let me give you a wrap up on the post-game if you're not gonna listen like me:

"We weren't us. They're really good. That T was immature of me. We're not very good. G'Town limits your possessions and we didn't capitalize. Gotta forget about the loss and look forward to Pitt."

LloydMooresLegs

I think Chris had of our first 10 or 12 points.  He still has 8.  That is disappointing.  He had a couple of opportunities on which he didn't execute, he sat for a while with 4, but, mostly, nobody got him the ball.

Not our night is a major understatement

I hope Karl Hess dies in a fiery, one car accident.

Then we only did half the job we came to do, losing by sheer volume of shots

That coupled with their free throws.

AirPunches

I'd like to see more 3 attempts from Jamil. He has a nice stroke.

jimmybutlerfanatic

Finally hitting some 3's. Too little, too late.

Starks and porter are better than all the MU players but the rest of their starters are hacks. That's not really debatable. Overall, MU has the better team and should have won tonight.

Results, standings, rankings, etc...you know the things that actually tell the story of how good one team is relative to another, tell a slightly different story.  It's fine though, this one was a loss coming in, and it is a loss in the end.

Mayo was wide open twice on that last possession and they refused to pass to him.  Hmmmm

JoBo2756

I have a feeling Bilas could give two shits about this game. He's made like two comments about the play. More just bitches about Buzz and the refs.

4 tough road games plus Syracuse at home left for GTown. Ouch.

Spaniel with a Short Tail

Happy to see that last block!

feel like we coulda won tonight. Don't think Georgetown is that good.

Bilas is the biggest douche there is for college baketball

MattyWarrior

Senior point guard with uneven play, bad vibe for the tournament.
Took another big dump on BIG MONDAY!

Yep tired of this team folding on the road, especially against teams they are better than!

Has it ever crossed your mind that perhaps mu is just not good themselves.  The only team we've blown out is south Florida, and we can't even take care of cupcakes very well this season.

Yep, which makes this loss even more maddening. Take a look and see where GT finishes in the standings when the dust settles. They ain't better than MU!

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Is this one of the slower Marquette teams you guys remember? It seems like the reason the 2-3 is so hard to score on is that other teams cheat towards the paint and Cadougan/Lockett are too slow to penetrate and make the guards work. Defense just seems to recover so easily when MU is on offense compared to other teams.

NavinRJohnson

You guys might want to take a peek at MU's remaining schedule before you bury Georgetown.

Lennys Tap

Nate Lubick shot 13 free throws tonight! 13 free throws! Even when including middle school I feel comfortable saying that's never happened.

This may get buried under the Buzz technical talk but Cadougan was nowhere to be found tonight. Starks abused him and he never got it going for his teammates.

Agreed.  That was not my intent.

Hopkins had 9 rebounds, where is Jamil onthe glass?

Jr. & Ox seem to be MIA vs. good teams.
