/I reiterate my vote for Infiniti.  Seriously, if you haven't checked it out, test drive an M37x.  Great car.

Nissan (Infiniti) does just a great job.  I think they really make some great vehicles.

Best car for the money out there is the Dodge Charger.  Thing is freaking awesome.

For less than the 50K (far less -- the stated price of the Mercedes)

You get full sized car, not a compact, AWD, 370 HP, heated and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, huge touch screen, all the tech toys, blind spot monitoring system, adaptive cruise control, rain sensing wipers, the whole 9 yards.

Did I mention 370 HP?  If you want you can get it with more, or less whatever.  If you are more interested in mileage, the 3.6 gets you 300 HP and 31 MPG.  The 5.7 hemi works perfectly for me though.

Just a great car.

And to boot, you won't fund a much uglier car on the road!

Haha no, I don't like Mustangs at all either.  Just don't think Dodge makes very good looking cars (Challenger or Charger).

Yeah, I guess some people do like things kinda bland.

New Challenger Redline.  Looks pretty damn sweet to me...
