Before the girlfriend incident, where was he projected?  I've read somewhere between 10 and 12.  So if he goes near 15 to 20, is that really a "drop"  this is a highly inexact process.

We agree.  And if he does "drop", is it because of this, is it because maybe he simply wasn't as good as advertised?  Very inexact process that will become more inexact as draft orders change, as a player supposed to go high drops, or a player supposed to go lower suddenly is picked up creating a domino effect.

In all honesty, if you look at some of the brainiacs that have been taken over the years very high, it's hard to see how this really hurts him considering some of the incredibly stupid things some people have done prior to the draft.

Projecting this guy in the top 10 was always insane. He looked fine against mid-tier Big 10 teams, but got destroyed by Alabama...a team packed with NFL-ready talent.

He's too small...too slow...has questionable LB instincts...and clearly has mental and emotional issues. Stay far away.

I guess it could drop him a little if enough GMs think this is a sign of, at the very least, big time immaturity. Every year guys make significant moves up or down GM's wish lists just prior to the draft. Just as often as not (or so it seems to me) the moves are unwarranted.

I don't watch a whole lot of college football, but Te'o seems a little small for MLB and/or a little slow to play on the outside. All those missed tackles in the Alabama game probably didn't help his stock either.

Yep, he struggled in the Bama game - as did most of the Irish defense. However, the announcers also noted that coming into the game, Teo had missed exactly 2 tackles all season long. The producers went through every play Teo was in on during the regular season and counted two times where he should have made the tackle but the guy got past him. That is pretty damn impressive. Actually, even if he drops because of the Bama game or the controversy, it'll probably take some pressure off the kid and might help him focus and practice that much harder.

Norm, is there something you need to tell us? Is your name Lennay?

That might be the most pathetic spin I have seen on his performance.  He was constantly blocked, run over, and got mixed up in the traffic on what is the closest thing to an NFL line that he has seen.  Furthermore, and I say this seen a number of ND games this year, he really isn't blessed with great speed.

AJ Hawk, who looks like a plant in the NFL, was a fast college linebacker at Ohio State.  Te'o doesn't look nearly as fast as Hawk did in college.

Is there a spectrum for sexuality? Like some straight men are straighter than others while some gay men are gayer than others?

Not trying to spin his bad game - just pointing out he had a good season prior to the Bama game. Maybe he wont pan out in the NFL - lots of good college players don't. We'll see where he is drafted and how he performs on the big stage.

Before all the Heisman hype I had been hearing he was a 3rd rounder anyways.  Most scouts thought he didnt have the lateral movement to be a stud MLB on the next level.  The first round and dropping stuff seems to be from the hype, not the projection.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Explain how poking fun at Manti T'eo is classless?  If he truly had no knowledge of it being anything besides a sincere relationship then why did his parents talk about them meeting in 2009?  Why did he say they met after they played at Stanford?  Why is he still answering questions about her AFTER he knew it was a "hoax?"  Why is his own teammate telling the media that he overhyped it all, that he knew she was never a girlfriend, that he played it all up for the attention, etc.  I'm not saying people need to rip on him, but to claim they are the classless people is flat out wrong.  Like it was brought up before, nobody was hurt or died in the situation.  There was no sexual assault, no murder, no life ruined.  Nobody who is poking fun of him is a sick human being.  The sick human being is the person who, at the very least, played along with a story about somebody he "loved" dying.
+1.   Making fun of internet love is hilarious, especially when one party never existed.  Stupid 20-something.  We all made mistakes as kids.  But this one... you have to get some laughs.  Douchetard made it public, not some scoundrel investigator.  Have at it!
