oops. screwed that up....anyway, I posted after game 1 that the sloppy clearance by Krug cost the Bruins the game.  Bruins are playing with injuries and Campbell broke his leg in the Pens series.  Where are those guys who said Boston would be lucky to steal one at home and that Eastern Conference was an inferior product?

Truth be told, 'Hawks are lucky to not be down 3-0.  Krug handed them a goal and then there was the "own goal" off Ference's skate.  He was outside the posts.

It could just as easily been 2-0 Hawks going into Boston. Last night was the only game that couldn't have gone either way. Bruins are just as lucky to not be down 2-1 right now.

And that was me...haha. I'm right here. I was trolling. Although I do think overall the Eastern Conference is still inferior.

I still think the Hawks take it in 7.

Bruins in 5 or 6. If it goes 7, I'll have to agree with you because of home ice. Don't think it goes 7.

4th and State

It's funny to hear how apparently one sided this series has been with essentially an extra game because of the OT periods.

Could be 3-0 now as well.  I still don't know how the Bruins didn't score on that one shot that hit the post in game one.  Thought Boston dominated the 1st OT and much of the second OT.

Been a pretty even series and any combination sans the Hawks up 3-0 you could see happening at this point.   Overall, still think Western Conference top to bottom is better than Eastern, but the top of East is very good, every bit as good as what the west has to offer.

4th and State

According to some on Twitter, Hossa is "likely" for game 4.

Chicago media giving Hossa a pass for not playing last night?  Not often you see a player play an OT game, then suit up for the next game, sit out, then come back 2 days later.

Per Chris Kuc, Blackhawks beat writer, it may be a neck injury for Hossa.

Hoss tried to warm up before the game. After warmups, he gave a personal speech to the team saying he would play through everything he could handle, but he couldn't handle this.

He's got credit in the bank when it comes to injuries.

Plenty of credit.

The Kane, Toews, Bickell top line is returning tonight in game 4.

This line did awesome against the Kings.  Q should have never changed it.

ATWizJr

Wow!  didn't see that coming!  11 total goals?  Full credit to the "Hawks".  Gonna' get interesting now.

Game 5 was unlike the previous 3.  Open ended game, favors the Blackhawks if it continues.

Also fail to mention that the Hawks top line was out there against the Bruins top line (I believe) most of the night. Strength v Strength is an interesting move!

Up until the last round, our top line that started games was Marchand, Bergeron, and Jagr and now swapping with Horton, Krejci, and Lucic.  Kind of like 1a and 1b lines, but agree Hawks looked faster last night.  Onto Saturday.

Impressed by Boychuck good all around player......what a great shot.

Is game one over yet?

Enough on this Stanley Cup talk, lets discuss a real team/city. You guys see that the Red Wings are building a new stadium in the heart of Detroit's "sports district"? I'm a huge fan of the Joe but once this is complete that area is going to be amazing http://news.yahoo.com/red-wings-plan-home-detroit-195227320.html

Oh and Bruins in 6
Bring back FFP!!!

Is that between the "abandoned homes district" and the "crack district"?

Did you watch the game last night? Do you really think the Bruins are going to take the next two straight?

The Bruins have impressed me. I'm eating crow for my Hawks in 5 statement. This series is going 7 and it will be a coinflip as to who wins that deciding game. Slight advantage to Hawks for home ice.

Real team? The Hawks and Bruins are both original 6 members just like the Red Wings and I think all 3 of those teams have very storied pasts and accomplishments fans of each team can be proud of.

Detroit a real city? Haha, it is laughable that you call Detroit a real city.  That place is a dump and Chicago and Boston are both about 1000x times better than that disaster you call a city.

My bad.  Probably from the lack of sleep due to all these OT games.
