I have distant recall of him giving a blatant two-handed shove to a Louisville player on a defensive free throw in a close game at home in the final minute. He got called for the foul, Louisville either got the ball back or shot more free throws, and we went on to lose. Do I have that correct?

Well if Marquette thought it was worth the opportunity to play in the tournament, it must of been of some value to the University.  I am not an Ammo fan, but the year before (2004-2005 season) Marquette had no decent big men on the team.  As pittiful as it was, Ammo was about the brightest hope for a serviceable big man.

Oh yea, something about online gambling.  Guess it blew up when he got to San Diego State.  Anyway, he just didn't have the temperment to buy into everything Crean wanted.  Just a bad match.
