the playing of jump around at that point was perfect.  I just laughed at all the badger fans as they asked all the MU fans how our football team is.

Had to watch the game on DVR, just finished it.  Agree, Jump Around at the end was great.  LOL.

The YUK the Badgers is definitely something I would have done as a student so I can't blame the students for doing it.

That was a pretty ugly basketball game.  We were the better team on the floor, but hard to say how good we are.  We certainly have some holes but happy for the win.  #1500

After the game the halls were filled with students shouting f--k the badgers. Totally classless.

Next time I go onto someone's lawn to retrieve my ball I'll now know who's yelling at me to get off of it......  You should probably either 1) chill out or 2) stop being a college bball fan.... life is short man why spend the majority of it trying to find something to be angry about??

If I were to do the same then I'd probably say something to the point of.... "Gee the game was scheduled for 5pm for the past year.... maybe everyone else who isn't in the student section could figure out a way to get there on time..... just a thought"

Why does MU have two rows of press tables behind the basket on the students side?  Why not put those tables on the other side and have the students right up to the baseline?  It will look much better on TV.

Who are all these ....whatever, criticising the students for their chants! Hell ESPN guys kept on praising the students throughout the game. Do not know when you went to MU, but when I was there from '79-'83 it was worse... toilet paper thrown on the court, curse chants at refs constantly (been told to tone down or a tech foul against Marquette would be called), and opposing players were targeted... like Gminski sucks chanted by probably half of the crowd the whole game against Duke. So we are a Catholic institution, and I'm a proud Catholic, but the Catholic church is a much more worse example than our student section.

I kept hearing the chant as "over-rated" too, which wouldn't make sense.  It was f-the-badgers, heard on ESPN2, thanks.

The students were fine and the place looked electric.  Not my favorite chant but 10 years ago i was doing the same thing.  Props to the fans and the team for defending home court.

If you did that, you'd have 5-8 rows of "ringside" seating.  Remember, the seating in the BC was designed for the dimensions of a hockey rink, not a basketball court.

It's just typical of some people on this board to to criticize the student section no matter what.... do you want the students to be loud and somewhat vulgar or not give a crap???  I could understand if we do this every single game but it only happens once a year.... against Wisconsin... it's like you're damned if you do and damned if you don't around here...

For the past few years, any time we talk about the students, it's that they aren't showing up, they aren't making enough noise, they aren't coordinated in their chants. Now that all of those problems have been solved, we are complaining that maybe they are too demonstrative? Give it a rest. The students have been fantastic this year. Looking across that student section tonight I was proud to see far less red over there than we saw in 2010 as well.

I give all the praise and respect I can to the student section this year for turning the BC back into a place that feels electric, that has home-court advantage. They have been fantastic. If I could say one thing, I guess it would be that they should never boo our own players. They haven't this year, not saying that, but it's happened in years past and I think that is FAR more classless than "Buck the Fadgers". Right now, the students have been superstars. Keep it up.
