During the last two games, I have noticed Chris limping back down the floor a few times.   I wonder how strong that knee really is.

I am afraid he is going to see less and less time regardless of his knee. Love the story but think his role will be diminishing in upcoming weeks.

I haven't seen today's game yet, but the limping might just be due to the brace, those things are combersome and can throw off your gait a little

8 pts and 8 rebounds in 18 minutes for Otule still ain't bad.  Together with Gardner the 5 spot got 23 pts and 20 rebounds in 40 minutes.  Not shabby.

Less than one year out from surgery, for a guy his size, I bet that it still tightens and/or swells up on him a little bit after any physical activity, especially in a game.  It might get better over time, but like you guys said, it might not... people respond differently to ACL surgeries...

I'd be happy with 15 min/gm from him down the stretch as long as Davante can keep up in his stead and stay out of foul trouble.

DomJamesToTheBasket

He clearly isn't as mobile as last year when he blocked 12 shots in the first 5 games.  He looks slow.  However,  he has played well and hopefully he will become more mobile as the season progresses.

Chris seems to be better scoring the ball around the basket this year though...may not be quite as active defensively, but still a great presence on the team...and a great story of perseverance.  Congrats to Chris for getting back on the court and making a positive impact.

A lot of back and forth today, but definitely the knee is stiff.  That said, he has a quick and wide first step jumping out on screens. Big difference with him in there defensively.  Would love to see more zone with him in there (like yesterday when Butler went spread).  Asking Chris to cover a lot of ground on a hedge is asking a lot on that knee.

T-Bone

I noticed that yesterday.  When he came off the bench at one point he acted like someone 30 years older that had been sitting for an hour or so.  Hope it doesn't affect him down the road in his post-BB years.
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

Doesn't look mobile. Was flat-footed a lot of the time while getting rebounds, ones he usually snags. No lift in his feet and was wailing away at shots instead of playing positional defense.

Steve Taylor is gonna steal minutes away from him. Stevie T is veryyyy nimble around the hoop.

Probably, he just seems to be favoring it and is very slow on defensive switches inside.  Based on his play so far, I don't know if that redshirt year will happen.  Why risk any further stress on the knee for permanent damage down the road in life.

Gardner getting minutes now and next year I see McKay basically sliding over to take over at the 5 when Gardner is out.
