Seems like that is just Hunt's opinion since there hasn't been anything else said in regards to it.

Mayo is a cancer to team. Very selfish.  We don't need that.

GGGG

Marquette can't say anything about it officially since it is an academic matter.  He's got about a month to do what he needs to do.

And this is false.  Completely false.

Nobody cares about your class project.  Unless your professor assigned the teams, you have nothing to complain about.

Caveat emptor.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I don't know that I'd say buried, but I did see this a bit further down the page...

Quote from: Michael HuntMount Pleasant, S.C. - There's more than a 90 percent chance he's not coming back.

But you already suspected that.

Mayo had several chances and wore out his welcome.

He could have helped Marquette's guard rotation off the bench.

Let's see if they miss any part of his game tonight against Ohio State.

Looks like the writing is on the wall here

As Hunt says:

"But you already suspected that."
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Freeport Warrior

If true, this is a bummer. IMO a healthy (physically and mentally) Todd Mayo is exactly what this team needs. He had/has the "it" factor. Smooth shot, not afraid, good d, could score in bunches -- I really thought he was going to be the "next" guy.

Couldn't say it better...

Stronghold

I saw him in the library yesterday.  I take that as a good sign that at least it appears he is trying to get back on track academically.

Good to hear.  Pulling for you Todd Mayo!

If he wasn't trying to get things back on track, and if there was no chance of him returning, why would he even still be on campus, much less in the library?  Good luck, Todd!

jsglow

I'm personally pulling for Todd.  As the good Doctor said, his life and his kids life will be better if he gets an education.  His time is best spent in Raynor right now, not the Al.

Goose

Big time want him back. He is talented offensive player and the team lacks that currently. He has great potential and really hope he gets back on track and rejoins the squad.

Maybe because he still has to qualify before he can play?? There are other schools that offer basketball, and many that offer easier curriculum. I do hope he turns it around, MU has no one who can stretch the defense.

Modification.
I do hope he turns it around, so he has a future on and off the court.
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

teamdee

Poor body language.  Only worried about getting his... like Vander Bust.

Hmmm.    Detecting a theme with teamdee........
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Yep... I'm not falling for this.

(Translation: Hey guys.... quit using Scoop to "anonymously" razz on your teammates, and focus the creative energy on how you're going to demolish the competition in Maui.)
