I am not a Larry Williams hater like some of you fellas, but wanted to mention that he was conspicuously absent from the Senior Night ceremonies last night at the Men's soccer game.  Just wondering what he had going on that was more important than honoring the seniors of our highest-ranking sports team in almost 35 years.
Have some patience, FFS.

mu_hilltopper

Whoa, whoa, whoa.  Marquette has a soccer team?

He was at home watching the ND v Oklahoma game on ABC last night.

madtownwarrior

sure he had a good excuse - likely just lost track of time sticking needles into his Buzz Williams voodoo doll...

The Circles event was Thursday.  He stayed the weekend to watch his sons at Yale play Columbia in NY.

It is a sign from God that He sent a perfect storm to try to take out Larry.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Makes sense to me.  I would hope all dads would make that decision.  Clearly his world gets super busy as soon as basketball starts so I applaud him for taking the 3 day weekend to spend some time with his kids.

Those poor soccer players must be heartbroken.

No, but one of them had his framed jersey blow off the easel last night resulting in the glass breaking into a thousand pieces!  They were out there with the shopvac before the game.

mr.MUskie

He was at a bar but he wasn't drinking.
