So we carved pumpkins over here yesterday. I've never been very artistic, but the fiancee used one of those books to carve hers. After seeing how well the tracing turned out, I thought "I could do that" and decided to trace a jack-o-lantern of my own. After lighting it up last night, I thought I'd put it out there as a gauntlet to see if anyone else had any other cool, Marquette themed stuff they have done for the holiday (or whenever).

Tell me what you think, and let's see what you've got:

That's sweet!  Good detail in the feather.  Gives me some good ideas...
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

F*ckin' once carved a pumpkin to resemble Heidi Montag. But, the thing kept fallin' forward on its face and couldn't sit upright.
