Based on the comment thread following the article, Mavs fans love Jae.   As they should!

The Jae train will.literally run you over! All Aboard!!

Hmm... superfluous punctuation.  Incorrect use of "literally."  Improper capitalization.  Apropos likening of Jae to a train.

We need to get DFWdigsDIRK on Scoop.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Bucks franchise is run by a bunch of idiots (correction--one idiot). Locals like Tony Smith, Wes, Jimmy, Jae, or even Wade don't get as much as a sniff.

They've definitely missed on some local talent, but Wade was gone when the Buck picked.  They ended up drafting TJ Ford.

'03 was a 4-man draft and the Bucks picked 8. Unfortunately, that Ford selection steered them away from Paul and Deron Williams with the #1 pick in '05.

Prediction: Jae Crowder, 2013 Rookie-Soph Game MVP

Thats the thing... Most quality drafts are really only 3-5 deep.  Bucks have put themselves in a position to constantly be drafting 8-15.  This gets you mediocre players, and mediocre teams that get bounced in the first round of the playoffs.

the Bucks consistently pick guys like tractor trailor, tj ford, glen bigdog, and so on.  they are their own worst enemy on draft day.

Yi Jianlian and Joe Alexander disagree with you.

Joe Alexander had one great dunk in March and all of the sudden he became a first round pick.  I'm pretty sure he's one of the only players drafted in the first round to not have his third year option picked up.  That's how bad he was.

I recall laughing a lot at this draft pick.

Nah, Anthony Davis guaranteed.  Don't even have to play the game.  He is the new annointed one in tha NBA.
