And should attendance be a pre-requisite for assumption of power for all outsider future administrators?

I would put down big time inflated tuition bucks to attend this class.

1.  Commanding pupil attention, this man:

With guest appearances by this man with a policy of no towel crapping when class is in session.

2. Of course I do.  DUH

Forgot about him, I might have to change my vote.   I can envision some of the endless conjecture in that class.   Side topics about Keaton Nankivil best WI prep player ever, etc.  Pure Gold.

augoman

ya know, Murph isn't alone in thinking Nankivill was wasted at UW..., or is that me putting words in Murph's mouth?

Blackhat

I respect Murf's basketball acumen but he's been wrong on a few biggies.   Gotta respect that he sticks his neck out there with his opinions though.

Blue  & Gold Fund concept: MU BB history seminar with students, alums etc. Maybe a 4 part seminar with guest speakers for each. Want to pass along the history and preserve it as well. Might be 25 posters that show up but could be hundreds if it appeals the right way,ie. start with MAjerus as the guest speaker--I bet there would be a pretty good response.

GGGG

Murph would be great if it were still 1964 and the players couldn't really jump.

TallTitan34

I wasn't joking.

Murph has some stories everyone here would love to hear.

That's true, but he's such an arrogant guy nobody would stick around to hear them.

He likes to say a lot of off the wall crap just to gloat the few times he's correct (even a broken watch is right twice a day), but then will resort to the old "he wasn't coached/used properly" or "I was right at the time" argument when he's proven wrong.

I like it and would consider attending.  Or how 'bout another concept.  MU old guy basketball camp.  Old players/coaches with middle age campers.  NO wind sprints allowed.  (MU can't afford the liability insurance.)

How about having Murf and Bama team up on a curriculum, Murf the anecdotes, Bama the data.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

I'd enjoy that lecture.

I took a class taught by Majerus my senior year.

"Taught" being a stretch.

Pretty much a joke ... which fit my study habits perfectly!

Chicos wrote the book, he can't lecture too.
That course might look something like this:

1. How Coach Crean likes his knob polished
2. What to say when you meet Joanie in a mall
3. Disneyland on $5 a day
4. How to cite "contacts" when you haven't worked at MU in more than 10 years
5. Why Buzz Williams is the devil

1.  Dr. Blackheart, or
2.  BMA

Bama not qualified due solely to age (lack of it).  Although attending MU games in the womb is an impressive pedigree, can the class really be taught by someone who wasn't around long enough to know that Marc Marotta was a top 100 recruit?  He would, however, be the perfect guest lecturer to provide the statistical analysis which would lead to almost all of us flunking the final.

Murph would be perfect as the kid in the back of the class who always challenges what the professor says.

4ever would be essential as the guest lecturer on Willie Wampun.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Living proof that prospect ratings are garbage. Marc was supposed to have been the saviour of Marquette basketball.

Let's just say he received the "biggest disappointment" award.
