I guess we should all tweet him and tell him how much we love him.

And when the NCAA comes calling, we can say; "But, Illinois did it"!
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

The NCAA is going to do nothing.  And rightfully so.

In another thread, someone brought up the possibility that Schuyler Rimmer's decommitment from Florida was related to the recruitment of Joel Embiid.  Evidently, it was.

Whelp, it was nice being in the running.  Hope I eat these words.

Rimmer decommited right after Embiid's visit, right? Yet still no commitment. If it was a done deal, he'd likely have announced his decision by now. It's mostly gut, but I don't think he'll end up at Florida. Not saying we'll get him, but I do think we still have a chance and will get a better sense once he starts taking his officials.

Imagine this board if that happened here.

Just so I understand this correctly, Florida is in position to sign three 7 foot centers in the same class? Wow.

4everwarriors

People say there's shortage of big men. Must be those knockout Florida coeds in Gainesville, aina?

No, you are wrong there, they have 6'1" guard and 6'9" forward committed

LAZER

Evan Daniels just tweeted Buzz is watching him at The Rock.

Not sure where/what The Rock is, but Billy Donovan and a DePaul assistant were there too

MattyWarrior

Florida is absolutely loaded with talent for the next couple years, think Donovan gets his next back to back NCs?

Ah, I didn't realize he went to school in Gainesville.  I don't know if i like MU's chances going up against Donovan for a big man that's from Gainesville.

noblewarrior

Go get him Buzz and round this class out!!!

He's visited Florida, and I believe he was the recruit that described the atmosphere at a college football game as boring. He's also from Cameroon, so I doubt he'd have trouble leaving his current home for school since he's already an ocean away. I could be wrong, but I really think if he wanted to go to UF, he'd have committed already.

Marqus Howard

I really want him. More importantly, with Gardner and Otule graduating in '14 (assuming Otule is granted a 6th year), we need to sign a center unless we want to start a freshman or forward at center in '15.

GGGG

He's from Gainesville, but his "mentor" is Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and he has been to Milwaukee a number of times.  Honestly I think UCLA is a bigger competitor for his services than UF, but if he wants to be close, Marquette is in as good a position as anyone.

bilsu

I like our chances as long as the Bucks do not trade/cut Mbah.

I'm more worried about a Kentucky fan buying the Bucks and moving the team to Lexington.

Doubtful. Luc can guard 4 positions effectively and brings high energy that Skiles loves.
Relax. Respect the Process.

THEultimateWARRIOR

Joel is the final piece to the puzzle for a deep run in 2013 and 2014. Just think if we got him and Looney running our front court in 2014.

4everwarriors

Yeah, and I got Kate Upton, Erin Andrews, Sophia Vergara, and Bar Rafaeli doin' a five-some as we type.
