Give him a break... Those 300 baud modems take a while to download.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Easy guys.  Didn't we hear that Tom is on some kind of leave.  Might not be the time or place.

If it were the reverse and he had been gone for good I'm sure there would be a fierce competition at the Urinal to get the chance to trash MU story of the year.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

J-S should have hired Strotty and/or Pux90 (Greska?) to cover the NCAA beat.  Then again:

1) Strotty and Greska probably don't want to slum around OW3rd and State.
2) Imagine the fierce outrage across the state over hiring an MU alum to write about UW.  Those diehard bucky fans from Parkside and UW-Waukesha might start the occupy movement all over again.
3) Can anybody get any work done being that close to OGBH?

If Enlund is out on medical leave, best wishes to his recovery.  No matter why Enlund is out, hopefully it will be ok.

That said...

If it were the reverse and he had been gone for good I'm sure there would be a fierce competition at the Urinal to get the chance to trash MU story of the year.

Is spot on.  Let's say that Bo suspended a player over the summer...

1.  Would said suspension have even been reported on in more than a cursory glance by Platypus?
2.  When said suspension was lifted, would Platypus be donning his Bucky jammie-jams and getting the most up-close-and-personal quotes possible, casting it as the most tearjerkingly wonderful story this side of The Blind Side?

My guesses:  No to number one, but a big ol' heck yes to number two.

To the Urinal Sentinel:

Relax. Respect the Process.
