52 and 55, not bad... not bad at all.  No other BE school had two guys that high, and only 3 had guys listed higher (Louisville, Georgetown and SH).

Bocephys

Both 4 Stars

Kendrick Nunn comes in at #37

The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

Lock it down, Buzz!

Plus a 1st team JUCO AA, would this be the best class on paper since AL?

kmwtrucks

It looks like none of chicago PF/C made it. Tommy Hamilton, Alex foster, Gavin schilling, or Russell Woods.

Dreadman24

Maymon was #46. Cadougan was pretty high as well. Oh yea and we also had a stud All-Amercan Juco known as DJO. Best class?? Not quite:/

With that said, I still like the look of it!

If Rivals says it's so, it must be true, right?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

What has happened to Thomas Hamilton?
Tuesday July 3, 2012 1:52 Ben
1:54  ericbossi: Thomas Hamilton is a big guy with skill and he clearly has talent. He has had injury issues but appears to be healthy now. However, when I've seen him play he's not had much of an impact on games. It's a tough proposition balancing potential and production, but I think everybody would like to see a little more production from Thomas

Wilson has passed Burton with a bullet in last six months.  I believe he will continue to rise during course od senior year.

You forgot Buyckes, who I believe was considered at the time to be better than DJO.

I think you're remembering Joe Fulce who was supposed to be better than Jimmy Butler.  I don't remember Buycks being the big get between him and DJO.

Buyckes was suppose to be a star. DJO was relatively unknown, partially because he was a junior college freshmen that recruiters did not realize would be eligible as a sophomore. Besides that he improved more than Buyckes, while at MU. Buyckes was a first team JUCO all-american. Jamal McKay was a first team juco last year as a freshmen, while Taylor was a third teamer.

kmwtrucks

DJO was a 1st team Juco all American as a Fr, guys that do that tend to make a impact at high major.  He was helped by having 3 years to adjust, just like Jimmy.

kmwtrucks

Crowder was a 2nd team as fr, I think jimmy was as well, fulce was a 3rd team.

Buycks was definitely thought to have been the bigger get.

I don't necessarily agree.  Dwight had 2 years at Indian Hills to prove himself, but DJO really tore up the Jayhawk Conference in his freshman year, so  schools would have been all over him if he would have gone two years at Hutchinson.

Right, and Buzz got in on him early over Pittsburgh and Kansas, but Buycks had proven more and was an All-American JuCo as well. DJO was definitely more of an unknown.

Jimmy was honorable mention, not second team JUCO All-American.

Fulce was a second team JUCO All-American.
