Not anything here that's a surprise, but a good update on the recruiting of Nunn.

The Depaul stuff is new. His dad kinda lays into them in there.

They are toast, and there is no reason for Illinois to take heart in Melvin Nunn's comments either.  If I were a betting man, I'd guess that both schools' chances are now tied completely to Jabari Parker bringing Kendrick along on his coattails.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I hate myself, but here goes;

Nunn too early!

Did Buzz show up to his house shortly after midnight in a blue and gold limo?

Yep.  For those two schools, it's Nunn of the above.
Have some patience, FFS.

Nunn to early to make a decision!

I wonder how lucky Buzz is?  Only one coach has Jabari's number....

Sounds a lot like OJ Mayo.  When he was being recruited, he didn't even give out his number to any coaches.  He said, "If I'm interested, I'll call you."

My money would be on Izzo, though Coach K would be a close second.
I agree. Wonder how we didn't make this guys top 14 schools.

I get the sense that Jabari just wants to be left alone at this point. He doesn't seem to want the limelight that comes with being the No. 1 player, and would much rather enjoy being a 17 year old kid.

Also, the USA Today expanded upon ESPN Chicago.

+1. Parker has always been of good character and probably wants to get out of the spotlight that is ultimately shining on him. Power to him. College coaches are pretty high on the scum bag meter.

And to expand on my previous thought, most of America thinks Marquette is in Michigan. Come to Marquette and escape all the attention!

Maybe we can get Tim Allen to record recruting tapes to send out to prospects?  That would really seal the deal IMO.

No need.  We already have Steve "The Tool Man" Taylor for that.
