Milwaukee--thanks to Marquette--is "one of America's great college basketball towns" according to this Travel Channel slide show, coming in at number 6.

I always wonder how they come up with these lists, but this is pretty good company. I've heard that when MU hosts the first rounds of the NCAA tourney, they are some of the best attended games. No idea if there's any truth to it ... but that speaks to being something of a college basketball town, right?
