Fishing has been HOT.

Last weekend caught a dozen smallies and a really nice walleye in two hours off the dock between 1 and 3.   Tonight 6 casts, six fish.  5 smallies and a walleye.  8 fish total. All off the dock on an ultralight, bobber, and crawler.

Good to hear.  My annual trip to purify myself in the waters of L. Minnetonka is in a couple days.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I prefer to think of it as a Dave Chappelle (as Prince) reference, but to each their own.

Not a bad day on the lake-a-ta-tonka.  Lost a 4ish large trying to land him (her) along the side of the boat, but caught 10 others ranging from 1-3 lbs.  No big wins in the group this year, but decent fishing all around.  Only 364 days til next year.

Who was you guide?

Did you give Fletchers a good thrashing?

I think our guide's name was Brad... not entirely sure, though.  Because of the size of our group, inevitably, we end up with several guides who are on Minnetonka every week, some who haven't been out there in years, and a whole bunch in between.  The guy we had last year hadn't been on the lake more than twice in a year over the past decade... the guy we had the year prior was out there two-three times a month during the summer.  This year, our guide mentioned he had won a couple tournaments on the lake... he certainly would have won this one had he been eligible; unfortunately, he didn't quite understand the rules that this was a private "tournament" for clients, not competitive anglers, and that his fish didn't count.

Most of our day was spent in the West Arm and Jennings, so we boated past Fletchers, but the after party was in Excelsior.

Tonka is a great bass fishery.  Also under rated for muskies too.
