Marquette down 1.  Vander misses a layup that spins around the rim about 18 times and doest not fall in (Not sure how physics did not have ball go down)  Florida hits a three.  Marquette turns it over,  Florida makes two free throws down 6.  All in about 25 seconds of hoops.

Crowder and Cadougan both on the bench with foul trouble.   Just like BYU was unable to overcome having Hartsock on the bench for an extended period of time, MU became stagnant offensively and defensively with those two sitting.    Junior picking up his 3rd in the first half and then his 4th a minute into the second half was a dagger.   I turned to my brother firefighters and announced that MU was done when Junior got his 4th.

^ Agreed.

MU was never able to establish a groove with Junior on the bench. He's not a scorer; he's a facilitator and a tempo setter. Jae had to play with one arm tied behind his back knowing he was in foul trouble. Unleashing the beast last night, it was not.

This missed dunk by Wilson in transition, which led to an immediate score by Florida.  Showed that MU was trying to play a touch too fast and out of control.
When we stop talking, really bad stuff happens.

The turning point of the game was when Buzz rolled the dice with Junior, after he got his second foul, because the offense does not run as smoothly.  Later in the half, at about the 4 minute mark, Junior got his third foul.  Without that third foul in the first half, Junior could have played more aggressively in the second half.  Had Buzz sat Junior for the remainder of the first half, we may have been down more at half, but we would have had a better chance to get our rhythm back in the second half.

Agree. This one was a huge momentum killer. The possession where Junior handed off to Davante for the no footer and we missed a few chances hurt pretty bad too.

I thought the 30 seconds that Jae played after re-entering game with two fouls. He pushed hard to make things happen and took two very quick three balls that did not fall. He tried to make something happen, he earned that right, but changed the game in my opinion.

Exactly my thought.

It looked like we were gonna make a comeback, got it to 6 w/ under 2 minutes I think. FU misses a three, Young fights off Blue for offensive rebound dishes out to Walker for a three to put em up back up by 9 huge rally killer knew we were done after that. Crowder/Cadougan foul trouble also didnt help our chances

Those two missed three's by Jae were wide open and DJO missed another one.  Three possessions, three missed open threes in a row.  That was it....

I'm pretty sure that was also right after the elbow to Jamil that was a "non-call". I know it's dumb, but playing "what if..." flagrant is called, Jamil makes 2FT, we make a FG. Now down 2 with 2 minutes left. That whole sequence ended with a possible 7/8 point swing.
