I have all the way to New Orleans. GO VANDY!!!

This is really a fun game to watch - especially knowing we are in the Sweet 16.  But Vandy and UW are going toe to toe.  Vandy inside, UW from long range.

tower912

Vandy with the comeback.   2-3 zone stymieing Bucky

I tend to hold a grudge, but does every other MU fan hope Jordan Taylor misses every shot he takes after that tweet he posted about MU? ;D

MUMac

Taylor with a guts 3.  Back and forth now.

chapman

Ezeli goes flying out of bounds, no call.  Crap!  Well, UW's offense on the 2-3 was to wait until 3 seconds on the shot clock and chuck a deep three so I think Cuse can take them.

MU_83_florida

Wisco look lost against the zone they have no chance against Cuse

Mayor McCheese

The more I watch Badger basketball - the more I believe that article that Seth Davis wrote.

Wisconsin's offense isn't the swing anymore, they just pass the ball around and chuck a 3 - it is pretty atrocious offense, especially in these final minutes of the game.

Defensively, they flop as bad as Duke.  I think Murray St would beat both of these teams.

With that being said, it looks like they are Sweet 16 bound... so I guess it works.

pure genius stuff by Bill Simmons, remember to read day 2

cheebs09

That better not be their zone offense because they will get pounded by Cuse.

MU Fan in Connecticut

Vandy unneccesarily chucking a 3-pt shot with 5 seconds to go certainly helped.  Unreal.

Mutaman

With 14 seconds left, and down by 2, Vandy decides to rush down court and launch a 30y footer. What am I missing here?

That shove on Ezili was ridiculous.  Don't know how you don't call a foul...oh wait, I forgot, they played UW.  We all know UW doesn't foul.  Christ.

Yep.  When you're boxed out you're allowed to grab and hold the guy's arm to give yourself a chance at the rebound.  It must be true, cause both of Bo's players executed it perfectly.

Vandy kills us, beats Kentucky a week ago, but can't beat a little better than average Wisconsin. Unreal

MUMac

So, here we may have evidence of an official swallowing their whistle.  Letting them decide it on the court.  Opposite of the calls in the 2nd round.  That is what is wrong with that philosophy.  Jay Bilas said Friday, the official needs to make the call, the players did decide it by their actions (foul).

On the inbounds, right near mid court a UW player just grabbed the Vandy player from behind to prevent him from getting open.

Hmmmm ...

muwarrior97

Don't hate, Appreciate!!!  Back-2-Back for both programs is nice.  What do all the those nay-sayers say about our win @ the Kohl center now??

Win, Advance, Repeat.....

Photographic proof of the dirtiness known as Madison?  Say it ain't so!

I have less respect for Bo Ryan than I do Tom Crean.  He may claim he's running that team "the right way" but Seth Davis' article proves itself more and more accurate each time we watch Madison.
Relax. Respect the Process.

I suspect the rodents drill on this during practice.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

There is no doubt.  Both players are doing the exact same thing.  That is not a coincidence.

As much as I hate the concept of playing dirty, one wonders how a Marcus Vick equivalent on Vandy would have handled this...

I forget the exact play, but Kevin Stalling almost lost his mind on a Wisconsin Walk-under.  I have no idea why the officials don't call it.  It's completely obvious that when a player jumps up for a jump shot, Wisconsin players consistently put their arms straight up and then walk a step or two under the shooter, knocking him off-balance and undercutting his legs.  It appears obvious on the TV angles, but the refs must not see it because its never called.

One of the moves I'm sure that Big 10 coach was talking about in the Seth Davis article - the Wisconsin Walk-under.
