At the end he makes MU his sleeper final four pick.  He followed Mizzou all year and thinks we will beat them.  He says that MU plays every possession like its the last, and the loser of the game gets shot.  He also calls the team fearless.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Loved what he said...

Quote from: Fran FraschillaThey play every possession like it's the last possession they're ever gonna play. Like if you told the team 'Look, the losing team's gonna be taken outside the arena and be executed' that's how hard they play, and they stumbled in the Big East tournament to Louisville. They've got 26 wins, they're fearless, absolutely fearless. Buzz Williams is one of the great young underrated coaches in the country. I like Marquette. I think they're gonna beat Missouri, and I've been a big fan of Missouri all year.

I feel the same way as Fran.  I like your chances but I really like Missouri too.  I hope we don't see them.

I'd actually prefer Mizzou, maybe to both Florida and Virginia. Florida has a great big in Patric Young and has the guards to play with anyone. Beal is a flat-out star, and I like their odds to upset the Tigers. Virginia is one of those teams that I think would just irritate us. Molasses-slow pace, good defensive team, and that one stud up front to make Crowder's day difficult. They remind me a lot of Wisconsin, except more likely to shoot 2s than 3s. Could still make for a long day.

Mizzou is very good, very similar to us, but the difference is that everything they do is predicated on offense. It'd be a track meet, it'd be a fun game, but when it came down to which team could get that one stop at the end that decided the game, I have no doubt that we'd get the stop.

I think the matchup with Mizzou is horrible for us.  They play just like we do only they are better at it.  Our style won't bother them in the least.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

I like Mizzou. Sorry guys.

I'm still a Marquette fan so don't kill me.

I like Mizzou too, but I'm banking on Florida beating Mizzou so that we can skip that rematch :)

GOMU85

That would be nice. I'll be pulling for Florida also.
