I was just responding to the "murray state hasn't played anybody" crowd. Dayton, SMC, and southern miss weren't bad scalps either. but their conference was garbage.

I agree on the Florida Mizzou matchup.  Will be tough or Mizzou to win that one.  But let's just make sure we make it to that sweet 16 matchup.

I have tickets in Omaha and will root for Mizzou upset.     They are not deep at all but their first 6 are really tough....if they are on, they can beat anyone (I guess in this tournament that is true for anyone).  If we get them and can run them, they tire.   But, they scare me as their guard play is really really tough.   Not a lot of height so we may match up fairly well and whomever is hitting the 3s could be the difference.  I love MU's draw in round 1 and frankly, I think we have a great draw to the sweet 16.  To me, if we are not playing the second week it will be a failure.   I know Murray State is a nice story, good team and is playing in their home state, but, we should be the chalk.   I was worried about playing belmont in round one.   Anyway, it is there for us to make back to back sweet 16s and then let it play out from there.   Whoever said it earlier was dead on....if we won the BEast tourney...the two seed was there for the taking.

The other issue is that you get less time to scout your opponent.

I'd rather see Buzz focus on one team for a solid three days then split time until Tuesday night at 23.17 and only have one day to really get dirty with it.

They are faced with the same.  The one difference is that Buzz and the team can watch them play each other knowing we get the winner.

Call me crazy but I have watched Detroit play and I think they have a shot to upset. I'll put up my 20 on Detroit straight up. I bet it will be a great payout.

I love Bilas! Best analyst in college basketball hands down. I would love him even more if he took diggers highlighter and shoved it up his a$$. I can't stand digger!

Too many people focused on Round 2 and (potentially) Murray State.  Since I'm not on the team,  I'm permitted to look ahead to the next game(s):

Murray State hasn't played anyone of significance.  They are probably stronger than a #6 seed, but MU is clearly the better team here.  At the risk of sounding cliche, only Marquette can beat Marquette in Round 3.  Then:

Are you kidding me?  Our path the the Final Four is potentially Mizzou and Michy State?!?  The weakest #1, the weakest #2, and we don't have to see KY, NC, Duke, or OSU until New Orleans.

Don't count out NFSU against Mizzou.... MU and MU are composed very much the same; Kyle O'Quinn is going to give them fits just like he did to us in Charlotte Amalie.
