Stuck at work....

Anyone got the UCONN v Syracuse game on?  I see UCONN is up right now.

Any updates on how each team is looking, etc.?

Thanks.

tower912

UConn up 6.   Getting into the middle of the zone.   Syracuse not shooting well.

Really hope Syracuse wins so that we can beat them later
I'm Ron Burgundy?

I REALLY hope UCONN wins so I can rub it all my friends from NY who are poseur fans that continually crap on my Marquette posts with "Go 'Cuse!"

And I'd much rather play UCONN than Syracuse regardless.

Kris Joseph may have a jammed thumb.   May be contributing to Cuse's bad shooting.

Syracuse back within 1 at 42-41. Come on, Orange! If you lose now, how else will Marquette shove your #1 RPI ranking down your throat Saturday night?

TallTitan34

I'd much rather play UConn playing their fifth game in five days than Syracuse playing their third game in three days should we get that far.

SYR up 4 with just under 5 to play.  8-0 run last 3 minutes.

I'll take the second-tier teams in the NCAAs. I don't want there to be any doubt about us deserving a #2 seed, which means we are best off beating Louisville, Notre Dame, and Syracuse. Give me the toughest teams possible. Georgetown would be okay, but I really want 'Cuse. Definitely not UConn, I don't care about 5 in 5 days, that didn't stop them last year. No need for a karmic repeat when we can take down the #1 team in the country per the RPI.

Latest UConn/Syracuse update...Derrick Coleman found all the fat that Jared from Subway lost and used it as a dipping sauce for his fries. He looks like a moose, and not in a good way.

Titan I think we might officially need to take the kool aid away from you.

When did the Big East Tournament become the Big 10 Tournament?  What's with all these low scores?
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Boy, Dion Waiters is a good player!

Jeremy Lamb may be first team all-Big East, but he has a lot of LeBron in him, and not in a good way. He's a secondary option, not a leader. Last year he flourished with Kemba leading the way, this year UConn has floundered because he's not the leader. They finally have started looking good since Napier started taking over, but I don't think they'll ever be a stud team with him "leading" the way, because that's just not who he is.

VwArrior1

Brutal last couple of minutes for Napier

Because I would rather play a weaker opponent?  Because I don't like our chances against the #1 RPI team?

I think everyone else is drinking the kool aid.

chapman

Cuse pulls another one out late.  You can say they're beatable by looking at all the games they win late, or you can say they must be really good to be able to pull everyone of them out.

VwArrior1

I may be in the minority, but I was rooting for Syracuse because I want another shot at them and a chance to ear a 2 seed.

Spotcheck Billy

but what about a score update?  ?-(

I won't argue with you there, I am. But watching Syracuse of late, I think they're vulnerable and just haven't played a good enough team to knock them off. We are that team. I want Syracuse bad.

TallTitan34

If we play Syracuse, it will be in our third game of the BET.  The last two years we have gotten pummeled in our third game of the BET, I presume due to fatigue.

Syracuse is a very very deep team, so I believe they will be fresher three games in.  That is why I would have preferred a weaker UConn team playing its fifth game in five days.

MarquetteDano

Watching the game and Melo taking that ill advised outside shot and the ensuing argument with teammates...

Is there any player in the Big East less likable that Feb Melo?  I really hope Cuse leaves the Big East sooner than later.  The less I have to see Fab Melo the better.
